The Biblioteca Capitolare

The library of the Chapter of Verona, with its more than 1500 years of history is the oldest still functioning library in the world. Its very precious collections of manuscripts and printed text make it one of the jewels of the world cultural heritage. Known by Dante and Petrarca, it has survived over the centuries to wars, plunders and natural disasters. Today it hosts scholars and specialists for research activities but, recently, it has opened its door to the public for exhibitions, conferences and guided tours. Thanks to the lighting by Exenia we can even better bring out the beauty of its rooms so rich of charm and stories to tell, allowing visitors from all over the world to savor the magic of a unique and extraordinary place.
